I use kconsole with KDE, cause duh it came with it. The one thing I really hate is the fact I can't use my mouse and highlight something I want copied and then right click, or ctrl v or alt v, on that console (like in a real console) and paste what I want copied.
Is there a console already in kde/gnome (I am really lazy sometimes, and don't feel like dealing with dl, compiling a term, with the crappy gcc that RH has)?

thnx for the i/o put

Well, I haven't used konsole or KDE in a while, but you should be able to copy and paste into it the same way you do everthing else in X.
Just use the mouse to highlight the text you want to copy, then put the mouse cursor where you want to copy it and push the middle mouse button. If you only have two buttons, push both at the same time to get the three button emulation.
