LEAVE ME ALONE. Ask on the forums! It's just damn rude to start PM'ing people with questions like this...

if it bothers you that much then why not just disable PM's in your control panel? end of problem

well that does not really address the problem.
I myself have made friends on this board friends that I do not mind getting legit PMs from.

getting PMs from strangers for questions that can and should be asked on the forums are equated to spam in perception.

sums it up to proper n'ediquet

Why not just give up email if you don't want spam? PM's are supposed to be for talking to your buddies, not for flooding people with PM's enabled.

Did anyone else get a PM from this guy? If he's hitting everyone he can, that will get him banned before his first post...

Ah, he did post the question...in Networking

He posted in Networking, and in Programming, and he also PM'ed me (probably before either of those posts). Deleted the one in Networking -- it's a programming question, after all.

I really should read my PMs after reading the forums... ;)
