Console

Is there any alternitive to the Console program that I can download? Like I have heard of Konsole, is it good, and where can I get programs like that?

Search Google/Freshmeat/Sourceforge for anything with 'term' in the name - Xterm, aterm, eterm, etc. Quite a lot of the window managers have their own terminal program. Konsole is part of KDE.

[On a related note, does anyone know if there is a terminal that I could get to act like the Quake terminal - ie I press that funny key in the top left of the keyboard and it just drops down, press it again and it slides away? ]
