I have no idea where to look or even exactly what its called, or at what level it is implemented, but it is this:

Your mouse cursor never hits a boudry, when you go to the edge of the screen it comes "out" the other side (at the same horiz/vert level/line), or top/bottom...understand?

If not: Usually when you move your cursor to the edge of the screen it "hits" it, and can't go any farther...if it were boundless, once it hit the edge of the screen it would automatically be re-positioned at the other side (or top/bottom) of the screen, so it seems like the cursor just "rolls through"

Any pointer (haha) to a program that could do this would be great!

When used with virtual workspaces/desktop/whatever, this is called edge-flipping. The pointer hits the right edge of Desktop #1 and immediately comes out the left edge of Desktop #2. Usually, there is a delay set up so that you don't accidentally switch desktops every three seconds. How/if this works depends on your window manager. Whether or not it will work with only one desktop, I don't know. I've never heard of anyone wanting to do it before.

If might be possible it VTWM, but I haven't tried it. I do not think this would work well when used with a traditional mouse as your mouse is going to quickly run out of mousepad space.

your mouse is at the bottom of the screen, instead of moving it 600/768/1200/ pixels uip you move it DOWN 30 pixels, and BAM close the window, or whatever......I'm not making this up I had a proghram in WFWG 3.11 that did tis ("pliginfor windows"), it was damn efficient once you gotused to iy...sorry about the bad spelling, long drunken night.
