When I try to install a program like KDELibs or Boson, I get an error that says I need QT 2.2.2 or later. I have QT-Corel and QT-Corel-Dev, is that good enough? I cant install QT because of an error but it wont tell me what the error means, I just get an
[Error: 1]
[Error: 2]
type thing. I will post the whole make thing if I have to, but do I or can someone help me without them???

What version is QT-Corel?

If it was installed via rpm, then

rpm -q qt-corel

will tell you.

Somehow I get the feeling it isn't going to be version 2.2.2, so in that case. Well you know...

You are using corel linux?

I heard somewhere that Corel Linux was recently purchased... Have they been doing much work on it recently?

I'd almost be tempted to upgrade to debian testing... But I haven't used corel recently so I really don't know how easy/risk free that is.

Yeah, some other company is licensing it or somthing, and there site is just a lame explanation of who they are and there plans to dominate the Earth... jk, but there website dosent say much... I dont even know if they are doing any work on it or just messing with it. Any other Corel users here (yeah, right) that could tell me what I could do or anyone thats having the same problem?

I guess you had better post the error messages you are getting when attempting to install qt-2.2.2 so we can try to help.

Did you try searching Google or any of the other search engines for those errors? Does the readme tell you the dependencies that are required for 2.2.2?
