Yesterday I decided to switch from RH to slackware...so I downloaded the ISO from a mirror and am about to burn it. Before burning, I though it would be a good idea to read the instructions. From the way I've understood what I've read on slackware.com, the cd I downloaded is not bootable and I need to create two boot floppies to install.
The problem is I'm installing on a laptop which does not have a floppy disk drive. I am able to make bootable CDs, but I think I will run into problems when it comes to inserting the installation CD (I'm assuming the install program will try to run apps which are on the second boot floppy, which will no longer be in the drive by that point).
Does anyone know what the easiest way would be to install slackware on this machine?
