I have 32megs of ram on a Mandrake box. I also have a 64meg swap partition, and a 32megs swap file. When I run "top" I see that I've got 90' something Megs of swap space and none of it is being used, while I have the 32Megs of ram which all is being used. Is there a way to put more of a load on my swap as to even things out a bit???

Well, if i'm not mistaken you shouldn't worry about this, It's normal and logical.

1)RAM is much faster than your HDD so RAM addressing is always prefferable
.
2)Your most currently used progs will always be stored in RAM, and the lesser used on your HDD.

3)The more progs you run at once the more swap space will be used.
