DOS programs under Linux

Hello,

Can anyone give me some much needed advice on running DOS programs under Linux.

I know its possible, but have no idea where to begin. Will I need a fat16 partition on my Linux box ?, do I need any particular software ?, Why is the boss looking at me odd ?

You can try with wine, a windows emulator
