I have done wrong, father, forgive me :0)
I had my HD as a dual boot with win98 and mandrake and my bootloader of choice was grub. In fact I decided that I did not need my mandrake partitions for the time being as I have a dedicated Suse-Machine at the moment.
I told my mate and he went in with partition magic and freed the space. D'oh!
Now on boot all I get from my drive is the minimal bash like grub> prompt.
How can I get rid of the remnants of the bootloader to let my disk be a simple win98 and boots up like nothing had happen?
If that is not possible what command could I enter at the prompt to boot from c:\ ??
Thank you very much!
