Please don't take this the wrong way - just that I noticed you doing this over in your 'magic blackbox diagnostic tool' thread. Please be patient after leaving a post. You posted three times in the other one within about an hour, begging for a response. Sometimes you just aren't going to get one, ever. Most of the time it takes longer than an hour and fifteen minutes. There's no need to bump a thread that quickly, considering that the front page of /dev/random is currently 23 hours worth of posts. Typically you should wait until a thread lands on the second or third page before you bump it.

Much wisdom can be found here: http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

I sincerely suggest you read it and live by it. It will make life on the net much more entertaining and productive.

Who the hell is Jack Osbourne? Does he know Alison Trapp?

Not sure if this is what you're talking about, since I don't watch MTV. It sounded close to your description, though. It's only a 7" screen, not 10", but may be what you're looking for.

Just a couple more quick suggestions on the side, too:

1. You seem to ask all of your questions in /dev/random. This question would have better been asked in Hardware Questions, as such a monitor is a piece of hardware, after all.

2. Please work on your thread topics. By saying "Might sound strange..." You could have been talking about how you taught your Polish Monkey to administer LDAP so you could log your cheese grater into an NIS domain. You could have more aptly named this thread "Locating a Mini-LCD?" or something.

3. Also, and I'll repeat this many times: You don't have to put HELP in your thread topics!!! Since this is a Forum devoted to helping people with Linux and other Tech related issues, most of us pretty much assume that when we prepare to respond to a thread, we are going to try to help someone.

I hope these suggestions help you on this forum. But for your LCD, have you tried doing a Google search for "Mini-LCD" or "7 inch LCD" ?
