Hey,

I am still quite ignorant about how many of Linux's higher features work. For instance, is there something special about RH's Bluecurve that enables it to run both KDE and GNOME programs? Or can KDE and GNOME run each others' programs normally? ARE all X programs created equal?

Thanks for the info!

they aren't running each other's apps. you can run any app you want to in any environment you want to. nothing special there.

all they did was make matching gnome and kde widget styles so that the apps look like they match.
