I just upgraded my MDK 9 (Dolphin) to MDK 9.1
When it tried installing my Lexmark Z43 Printer, it stopped. So figuring this was the tail end of the installation, i restarted the computer.. .. Im in MDK 9.1 now..... everything works fine - 'cept printing. I couldn't get it to work under 9.0 either! But that was just from my inexperience. In the Printing part of the Configuration tab, it gives me all kinds of programs to clean the Z43 nozzle and such ..... but it can't talk to the printer!
Printer is hooked in through USB #0
Help please!!

Unless you have that fancy new thing with mirrored RAM banks or whatever exactly it does pairing RAM has been history since the DIMM came out.
And even if you have that fancy new feature I believe you can shut it off in CMOS. And since you have a 2400+ I dunno why you would spend money on that fancy board, when another 50 on a 2600+ would yield 33 million more clock cycles on the front side bus.
I dunno about your printer problems. I've never got a printer working in Linux.
damn...who pissed in your cornflakes?

according to the site your printer is not fully supported by Linux. some features don't work.

Um yea, anybody here ever heard of DIMM's needing to be paired. Boy, if they do I think all those boards with 3 slots are gonna be in trouble :).

unless there are new DIMM's that are smaller & more compact. I domino maybe the DIMM's are the size of a domino & you can fit more then one in the slot;) :D
