redhat 7.0

When exiting netconf I get a notice saying the system is not in sync with the current/updated config.

Selecting 'preview what has to be done' shows this:

Executing: /etc/rc3.d/S16apmd start
Executing: /etc/rc3.d/S85httpd start

I selected 'activate the changes' and got a dialogue box stating that there were 'some errors'.

Selecting yes brought me to a list of time/dates (3 listed) - all have "activating changes" after the date.

What does this mean, and what do I do to fix it?

It sounds as if you may have several un-needed daemons running and they need to be disabled, especially if you are going to connect to the internet with that box.

apmd is the Advanced Power Management (APM) daemon for laptops.

httpd is the Apache hypertext transfer protocol server daemon to serve webpages to a network

You can turn off these daemons if you aren't using them.
