problem with linuxconf

i am not getting linuxconf either in gui mode(gnome) or from console. It shows file not found. Also i can't get it thru find or where. I m using redhat 7.3.

yea that didn't come in redhat 7.3
the idea was it didn't preserve hand config edits and comments and was unsecure
in 7.3 you are supposed to be able to use as root
gui tools in start -> system settings to do the same stuff
you can try adding it in but it might screw everything up
best to just leave it out and live with the change i think
