Tyr-7BE 03-13-2001, 01:00 AM I have no idea what they are, but I do know that they are supposed to be there. Perhaps different components of the same script? There are plenty of duplicate procs when I run a top command too so don't sweat it :) fancypiper 03-13-2001, 11:42 PM Netscape is a little flakey, so if you see more than 2 processes, kill them all and restart it. I have had Netscape to start my hard drives to spinning (I think it probably drove the swap partition mad as I have heard it has a bad memory leak) and I had to resort to the power plug pull to ever get my box back. Pan can do it as well. Always check for those two after you close them. justlinux.com
