Question about Nautilus

does anyone still use this? last time i used it in 7.1 it sucked all my resources plus added like 30 extra process. Has the new version fixed most of the memory problems?

I run 1.0.4 with Gnome and Sawfish on RH6.2. It's about the same, however, if you look at it, this is a threaded thing, and most of that is all asleep. It does, however, take a lot of resources. I have 128 megs, and an AMD 550, and it seems quite comfortable, here. Just have to decide from all the choices out there, what you like. HTH, Ray

I think it's certainly a lot better than gmc, but it is a bit bloated. If you've got the hardware, it's great - otherwise, don't bother.
