CS4281 Soundcard and RH9

I recently made the switch from Windows to Linux, and chose RH9 to install. Everything is working fine so far, except for my sound card. According to RedHat this card is supported, but when I was doing the install I didn't get a test sound and there was a message stating something about the module being disabled. After the install I tried it again using the soundcard detection program from the system menu, but still got the same error message. Is there a somewhat easy fix to this? And remember I'm new to all this, so be gentle with me.

Login as root, and try

modprobe cs42xx

If you get sound, then your card uses the cs42xx module. If you don't get sound, try a Google for Linux (http://www.google.com/linux) with using the term cs4281
