Web usage tracker

Is there a program which will track my total web usage? I need to know my total download amount per month.

This is important because we may move to the sticks far beyond cable modems and ADSL. For high speed access 2-way satellite maybe my only hope for broadband. Having a wife who is a writer and being a Linux junkie myself makes broadband important.

Any suggestions or warnings are appreciated.

Shouldn't your ISP provide such a utility on the Web? Mine does. Check out their site. Log on if necessary.
