Hey there,

I would like to listen to online streams from radio stations using linux. I screwed up XMMS and that isn't doing it anymore. I used realplayer in the past, but I have an older version which, when I try to look for web stations, just takes me to the real one page, asking me to switch over. It seems that they only offer a free 14-day trial, however. By the way, this is on a school's system. I was wondering how to either fix this problem easily (no troubleshooting), find a place to download the newest realplayer for linux (free), or a recommendation on what software to suggest the sysadmin install. I don't like having to revert to Windows Media player on a Windows box to listen online.

Thanks.

Install mplayer. It plays anything.
