Try PMFirewall http://www.pointman.org/PMFirewall/. It works great on my Slackware box.

PMFirewall and GSheild is the easiest it's going to get, aside someone making one for you, and I'm sure that won't happen.

You might want to take sometime to read up on documentation if you don't yet know whats going on in pmfirewall.
