Sharing things between linux and windows are generally made with samba. For more info go to samba webpages (http://www.samba.org).

Hey Paul
Generally Linux users expect everyone to share the Internet from the Linux box. I come from a Windows background and my Linux skills are yet to become "l33t".
My Windows box uses Internet Connection Sharing to allow my Linux box to get to the Internet using DHCP (no IP configuration required). To use ICS you need Win98SE or higher.

What is DHCP and where do I get it? Or does it come with windows 98 SE? And what do I use for the Linux computer? Thanks for responding :)

DHCP is Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. Basically, you set up a server, and then when the clients want to get on the network they shout to the server, "Hey, gimme a IP address" and the server says, "Sure, use 192.164.0.1 (or whatever) and you can have it for 30 (or whatever) minutes" and then the client uses that IP for the set time, and then gets a new one.
On Linux you can usually use the dhcpcd program to run as a DHCP client, and I think the ifconfig and pump programs play a part in setting it all up (getting a little hazy here) but I have no idea how you can set up your Linux box to receive an IP from a Windows DHCP server. Anyone?
Hope some of that was of use

Thanks, for the replies, Ben, Len Sip, and Hena. Im starting to get this. I still have some questions, though:
What about the Hardware? What kind of Network Card do I need?
Will my ISP charge more (not will it, more like can it) some tutorials say that they can!?!
Will this even allow me to access the internet or just the filesystem and printer?
Also, all I really have to do is to be able to access the internet, that way I can access PWS files and ASP to print and file system if I need a file to be transfurred.
Thanks again, keep up the good posts.
