I am totally new to Linux and I am kind of confused about the ISO images. After, I download them, what is the next step? How do I get them to a CD?

Thanks in advance

It depends ..... do you have the *.iso file on your Linux or Windows partition?

If in Linux:
# cdrecord -v dev=0,0,0 speed=4 /path/to/iso-file
(use cdrecord --scanbus to get the 'dev', and read up on 'man cdrecord' to get all the options).

If in Windows:
Use whatever burning proggie you have, but make sure you choose to make CD from an image, so you don't end up with just the *.iso on the CD.

Cheers :)

Thanks for the reply.

I have it on an entirely different box, that happens to be Windows. So my Adapted CD Creator should do it...?

Yes, as long as you don't burn the ISO to a CD like it were a normal file. You have to choose something like "Create CD from Image File" or something like that.
