Hi everyone.

I'm running RH7.1 and Win98 on my machine. When I set it up I confidently allocated a whoping 38GB to RH and an optimistic yet naive 2GB to Win. :D

Stupid me. :(

For reasons beyond my control I find myself in the unfortunate position of having to allocate more space to Win.

Can someone tell me where to start with this task?

Much thanks guys

The easy way is to use Partition Magic. It allows you to resize, change file systemsm merge ... without hurting the data.

check its website if they have demo, if not borrow PM diskettes set from your friends. Running from diskettes is safer than even from the installed PM, and probably easier to borrow.

Else checkout 'parted' available from freshmeat.net

Just do a search there for parted.

Thanks guys, I knew about Partition Magic. I thought there might be a tool within the RH system.
I'll check out parted.

Thanks again
