X MandrakeUpdate Problem

Hello everyone, I needed to update to x 4.0.2, so I used the mandrake update utility. Well, i'm on a dialup connection, and i was disconnected half-way through. This corrupted X and now i can't start x.

Is there any command line tool I can use to download all the xfree86 4.0.2 files online. I can dial using wvdial, but I need to know what to do to download the updates.

Sounds to me like you already finished the download, becuase MandrakeUpdate doesn't start installing the packages until they are all downloaded first. It sounds to me that your new version of Xfree86 is just not properly configured. Play with some of the X configuration tools that mandrake has like "Xconfigurator", "xf86setup", or "drakxconf". ;)
