I just started getting info together to do a one-floppy, 486, Linux-based router. LRP is the one deal that just about everyone suggested, and I even have a good walk-through set-up tutorial for the thing. But... the LRP web site's links to downloads are busted. Can't get the "template" to get the router floppy set up.

LRP Download Page (http://www.linuxrouter.org/download.shtml)

Is LRP outdated and no longer in use? That would seem really weird. They seem to be one of the solid options out there for this kinda thing? If they are still up, does anyone have a site where I can download the template (I think it's called something like idiot-image_1440KB_2.9.4)?

And, if LRP is not "current," should I just go with something like Freesco?

Thanks in advance for the help.

What? No one likes me anymore? I've posted 2 or 3 or 4 things in the last week - one of which didn't need a response. But, none of them got answered. *sniff!* *sniff!*

Maybe it's my picture in the icon... I think I'll have to change it tomorrow...

You aught to see my mug! :)

Anyway, that link you posted is working. The router project is not one particular distro but it handles a concept ( routing ) just like the Learning Project handles tutorials and whatnot on various linux stuff.

I do think that Freesco is great!
