Trouble with swat

I am running RedHat 7 and am trying to get swat to work, so far all attempts have failed. I have enabled swat at start up but when i try to log on it tells me that the connection is broken. What am i doing wrong never had this trouble when using inetd is this an xinetd problem

If my memroy serves me correctly, xinetd doesn't fully replace inetd. You should still be running both. Go and checkout your inetd.conf and see what's going on it there.

Thanks, unfortunately RedHat 7 doesn't appear to be creating an inetd.conf atleast not in /etc where it usually lives can i just create one or am i doomed

Does an Apache Test Page show up at http://localhost?

And Redhat 7 does not have a inetd.conf. And I don't think creating one will help.
