I can't seem to get plib to install, when I run ./configure I get this error:

checking for glutGetModifiers in -lfreeglut... no
checking for glutGetModifiers in -lglut... no
configure: error: could not find working GLUT library


I have glut and glut-devel installed. When I tried to instal plib from rpm it says I need OpenGL, but redhat says it is already installed, can someone please help?
