Cannot view files from a windows shared drive

I mounted a windows shared directory on my Redhat 9 box but when i opened the directory I cannot see any file. Help!

How are you mounting the drive? Is it a ntfs or fat32 partition? If it is fat 32 use vfat as the type and ntfs for ntfs. Also try reading the directory as root. If you can read them as root you just have a permission problem.
