Hello everyone, a quick question about Samba. I have Samba and SWAT working but I made a change in SWAT and now I can not get to make any changes to the config file from a browser. My question is what file does SWAT make and what directory is it in?
Hopefully I can change the file from the command line and get SWAT working again. Thanks...

/etc/samba/smb.conf on my RH7 box...
Do you mean you can't reach SWAT? That would be (x)inet's fault I think.

I am using Slackware 7.1 and there is no /etc/samba/smb.conf file. I can reach the local Apache screen but just not SWAT. If anyone is using Slackware let me know where your smb.conf file is. Thanks...

Never mind I fixed the problem! The smb.conf file is in /etc on Slackware. The probelm was the security in the smb.conf file, so I changed it from SHARE to USER from the command line and it worked! :D
