1. Is there any difference between the purchased redhat 7.2 and the one you download from redhat.com? I have dsl fast connection which in average will get 5mb per minutes. assuming that redhat 7.2 full is around 2500mb which will take up 50 hours of continuous download time (or 2 and half days). Dial up connection would be to slow to download it.

2. I tried to upgrade version 7.1 with bugfixes. One thing that puzzled me, there are two links for glibc with exactly the same contents but different date. Which is the one we should download? :eek:

1. Hmmm, shouldn't be. The purchased one might include some extra software but you can find all that on the web anyways. The purchased will come with manuals and stuff but it's up to you if you want that.

2. One could be just a symlink that was made at a different date. Are the file sizes and names the same? If so, then just grab either.
