wvdial problem

However, if I log in as root, it works! so I GUESS its a permission problem. how can i cure this?

Click on the Hat, click System settings, then click network. It will come back and ask for the root password, once you enter it, you should be able to do whatever you need. Been there, very recently in fact.

errrr...yeah. i already have configured a ppp connection and there is a hardware configured. dude, i'm trying to solve a possible permission problem with wvdial. i don't think there is anything wrong in "system settings - network", since its WORKING when I su as root.
