Hi all,

I just installed Mozilla 0.9.4 and want to set it up as the default browser. I can't find anything in the preferences that will help me accomplish this. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

I don't recall seeing the default browser scenario in Linux, as it's pretty easy to open files with any application you want to use (versus a file being owned by an application in Windows, or Mac). I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong though :).

i swear ive seen a file association app or something in mandrake

could be mistaken but i swear i saw it somewhere

if you want certain apps to open certain files, you only need to edit the desktop icon, or create one and put the app name before the filename

eg

konqueror www.linuxnewbie.org (http://www.linuxnewbie.org)

In KDE, i'm using RH7.1 but that that shouldn't matter. Go to Control center (Not KDE control center) and there file browsing/file assiosiations. Html is in texts area.
