shutdown probs

When i shutdown on red hat linux 8.0 for some reason it will not turn it self off.But on my other pc it shutdown and ower itself offf.


Why is this do that for?:confused:

I logout and shutdown and for some reason i can see the word power oof.Why don't it shutdown it self like my other pc do?:confused:

How are you shutting it off?

Try:
shutdown -h now

I that that wayu and still have the smae prob.I still see the word power off and it still hang there.:confused:

You probably need to load the apm module to get it to work right. Use the search option, for more details of how to do this.
