I simply can't imagine this ever being viable. Not that I would ever use an airport/restaurant/etc toilet except in the most dire emergency, the idea of touching a keyboard and surfing when others in the....umm, how you say, condition for surfing makes my skin crawl.
To keep this relevant to Linux and keep the thread alive, I will say, I hope that no Linux company tries to follow in MS's footsteps.
Whatcha think...am I way off base here. :)

I agree. There's no way I would use a keyboard in the 'loo'.
If this is on the up and up, then the things won't last long. Too many people go into public restrooms and treat them like, uh..., well, crap.
;)
sounds like a breeding ground for disease / germs.

have these idiots for one second even remotely brainstormed about thinking of the possibility of a sanitation issue? I mean S^!&, I always use my feet to flush the toilet in my school bathrooms. why would I touch a damn keyboard?

iLoo? did they steal the idea from macintosh? anyway ive read about that in a newspaper recently, and i thought its only the japanese that had advance toilet seats.

oh these are not advanced toilets that talk to you and wipe your *** on its own. they just toss in a plasma screen with a keyboard, probably with a cheap plastic cover over it. and thats not all! the guys that wipe their *** on their own gets their hands all over the keyboard, and you can use it after them and have a souvenir to take home.
I wont even get into porn sites.

Has Gates finally gone insane? I know for a fact that he has some "issues" but this is really moving toward insanity.
Oh well, I think that if there is ever a good place for a Windows box it would probably be on the can. I also think that M$ toiletpaper would be a good idea, finally a chance to wipe you a** with M$ :D
