You might like gftp (Gnome Ftp). DarkJedi9 05-06-2003, 02:50 PM I use ncftp. It's command-line (as stated above) and it's always been great for me. Has everything I need, nothing I don't. munkejens 05-06-2003, 03:20 PM there's also KBear from the KDE project. i recall it's the closest to a program like CuteFTP. or you could use Konqueror: ftp://user@server.domain.location:port eg: ftp://boujr@imaginary.server.dk:21 ("port 21" is default so you don't need to type it in if it don't differ from 21) boujr 05-06-2003, 04:46 PM OK, i tried that kbear one since im on KDE and such(didnt know if it mattered) plus you said its prob the closest to cuteftp. Well, i got it downloaded and installed no problem. Even got connected to my site without a prob. Only thing is, i cant transfer.... Ive only tried uploading but it didnt work. It just sat there and did nothing. I couldnt find any 'start transfers' button or anything like that so i just disconnected and closed it out to cancel the transfer. Well now i cant connect to the site anymore lol. I think the first connection is still going and therfore blocking out any others... any ideas? justlinux.com
