hi

recently installing 9.1 i notice that app selecting on the desktop require a double click rather than a single one as in previous versions of KDE.

also i cannot access the windows partition under user, its not the actual windows parition but a d: if you will which is fat32 that i dump stuff on, so i can share between linux and windows.

i can access it fine under gnome i think but not in kde under user, ive checked fstab and it seems to be fine.

weird

About your first question, check the Control Center. Under peripherals, you should find a mouse option. You can change it to single click.

I don't know the answer to your second question. Hopefully someone else might be able to help you.

on the second just use konquerer to go to /mnt/win_c or whatever the drives name is, it should be automounted so you wont have to mess with that, if your having problems with drives and mounting you might have to disable supermount and go manual, i found that installing autofs sometimes resolves some of the supermount issues, but thats all a lil out of the way just go to /mnt its there, kde just sucks sometimes

ah right i hadnt thought of autofs

what i found strange was that i could access it in gnome but not kde

and also the mounted partition showed a locked mail folder but nothing else

i knew that there is a mail folder within the windows partition as its where i keep my pst file.

strange how i could see that but nothing else.
