Im new to linux, and when I originally installed mandrake, it was with a geforce ddr which the automatic installation had no problem working with. Despite this I did actually download and install the newest drivers from nvidia and everything still worked great. This was about 2 weeks ago BTW.
I just bought this geforce3 ti 500 and I assumed that since nvidia has a "uniformed driver model" that I wouldnt need to do anything. So, of course whenever I try to bring up x, it just displays a bunch of crap. Anyone have any suggestions?
