I have Slackware 8.0 with two NICs to share my net connection - both use the Tulip driver.

How on EARTH do I get it to recognize both? it automatically detects one during installation, but the other doesn't work.

Load the other one in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules or /etc/rc.d/rc.netdevice Then configure it (eth1) using ifconfig. You might want to store this information in /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1
